Cardboard boxes are a kind of boxes for moving, usually made up of corrugated fiberboard. Card board boxes are also called carton boxes or packing boxes.

Types of cardboard boxes

Corrugated boxes have several types. Folding carton boxes are commonly used for retail packaging. They are glued and flattened to save space before they are used to ship items. Rigid card board boxes are exceedingly sturdy, which are often employed for packaging luxuries and expensive goods or as gift boxes. Large moving boxes are usually designed with convenient handles, which allow your customers to easily move them when they move their houses or company offices.

Sizes of cardboard boxes

Standard card board boxes are measured with length, width and height. The length is the dimension to which the boxes can be opened as large as possible. The width is their shortest dimension. The height of the boxes, or the depth, is the distance between the bottom and the top of the boxes. The standard cardboard boxes have two types. The small standard card board boxes have the size of 16 inches, 12 inches and 12 inches. They are ideal for packaging items such as books, CDs, DVDs and kitchen tools. The medium size is around 18 inches, 16 inches and 18 inches, which are suitable for towels and ornament items. The large standard card board boxes are 18 inches, 18 inches and 24 inches, and they are good for small household appliances, sets of bedding, window curtains and small pillows. The extra large standard card board boxes are 24 inches, 20 inches and 24 inches, and they are appropriate for large and light things, such as quilts, large pillows and sports equipment.

Special cardboard boxes

There are also some special kinds of cardboard boxes, which are designed for things of unusual shapes or items that need extra protection. Wardrobe cardboard boxes are large moving boxes with a rod on the interior top to hang the clothes while the shoes, wallets and belts are put on the bottom. Dish cardboard boxes are medium-sized cardboard boxes with separators or foam organizers inside them, and they are used to store fragile wares such as tea sets. Mirror and picture cardboard boxes are thin and flat and are designed for holding art works and mirrors. They are usually adjustable to art works and mirrors of various sizes. TV moving boxes, as the name suggests, are designed for the protection of televisions, most of which can fit televisions of 32 inches to 70 inches. Lamp cardboard boxes are for lamps and other high things. Office or document cardboard boxes are usually of small to medium sizes and typically have handles and lids that can be removed appropriately.
